Criteria for the IBEP & Hunter Safety Course (youth)
Scholarships for IBEP and Hunter Saftey courses
will be awarded each year according to funds available in each year
Any Ca. resident who is a full time student between the ages of 10 & 17
with a minumum grade point adverage of C+ is eligible.A student who wishes to
take both must submit an application for each course. A copy of the most recent
report card must accompany the appilication. A CBH/SAA member in good standing
must sponsor each student who applies.Applicaton will be by mail , during a
designated two week period. the Application dates will be advertised in
the CBH/SAA newsletter and other appropriate places at least to months prior to
the deadline. At the end of the two week period applications will be reviewed
for completion and accuracy by members of the Foundation Comittie. Scholarships
will be awarded by blind draw. The winning applicant will be notified by mail.
Students who apply for IEBP and or Hunter saftey courses will not be eligable
for to apply for a Youth Camp scholarship the same year. Any student awarded a
n IBEP or Hunter Saftey scholarship will not be eligible for a second
IBEP/Hunter Saftey scholarship. The Scholarship will be paid by reimbursement
to the student upon notification of the Foundation of the completion of the
course.
